In order to meet the challenging needs of corporate world, it is not just sufficient for a commerce student to be theoretically sound but must also be exposed to the outer world in a dynamic way to face practical situations. Department of Commerce was started in St. Joseph’s Academy of Higher Education and research, Moolamattom in 2014. The department offers four different streams of ug programmes: B.Com Co-operation, B.Com Finance and Taxation, B.Com Computer Application Model 1 and Computer Application Model 2. Department of Commerce offer add-on courses like Diploma in GST and Tally for our Students to enhance their knowledge and skills. It has been conducting personality development programs and placement trainings periodically to mould our student for corporate sector
