Department of Physical Education
The Department of Physical education was established in the year 2007. The department offers a two year professional degree course in Physical Education (BPEd), recognized by NCTE and a four year degree programme in Physical Education (BPES), both affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. BPEd course enables students to become High School /Higher Secondary Physical Education teachers and BPES course is designed to mould vibrant sports trainers and coaches of world class, capable of imparting coaching in Schools and Clubs.
The objective of these courses is to develop an independent, initiative, tolerant individual with a strong civic position, moral qualities and sense of responsibility
